We’re excited to introduce our next Expert Spotlight: Britnee (Brit) Reece, the newest member at A2E!

We’ve always taken pride in being more than a typical events agency—we’ve labeled ourselves as a collective of innovative minds, problem-solvers, and passionate creators. In this employee spotlight, meet Britnee—an event technology powerhouse who transforms the way events, people, and technology come together.

Britnee’s passion for both events and travel first started in college, where she spent two years as a Station Manager, hosting events to promote her campus radio station, and a semester abroad in Germany. After graduating, she quickly immersed herself in website design, communications planning, and data analysis—laying the foundation for a dynamic technology-based career. Over time, she progressed through roles including Project Manager, Product Owner, Registration Manager, and now Attendee Experience Manager—traveling extensively across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Spain, France, and beyond. Today, she partners closely with event planning teams, combining her love of events and data to ensure every attendee is informed, prepared, and excited for what’s ahead.

1. What Made You Want to Go Into Events Management, or, More Specifically, Attendee Experience?

Attendee experience sits at the heart of every successful event. Without participants, an event holds little value. Events have the power to drive connection, spark innovation, and create impact—but only when attendees are willing to engage.

2. What Do You Believe is the Single Most Important Way to Ensure a Positive Attendee Experience?

No one understands their audience better than the team behind the event. Every event should be rooted in a clear purpose, guided by a message intended for its attendees. The most effective way to create a strong attendee experience is through close collaboration with client partners—ensuring that this core message is consistently communicated before, during, and after the event.

3. What About A2E Appealed to You?

Move beyond outdated hierarchies and titles—true collaboration happens when every voice is valued. That’s what drew me to A2E: a culture built on equality, where we operate as one team. There’s a genuine appreciation for each other’s time, effort, and support, which makes all the difference.

4. What Do You Think Sets A2E Apart, In Terms of How We Show
Up for Our Client Partners?

At A2E, attendee insight is held in the highest regard, shaping every event we design. From initial concept through execution, we partner with clients to guide strategy using data-driven insights from their prospective audiences—building a strong, cohesive approach from start to finish.

5. What Advice Would You Give to Someone Looking to Start a Career in Events?

Data is foundational. It informs every aspect of an event. Whether you’re in marketing, meeting planning, sourcing, technology, F&B, or another area of the event lifecycle, you’ll rely on data to make decisions, finalize contracts, provide accurate guarantees, etc. Understanding how data is captured, where it’s stored, and how it’s used ensures you’re always prepared and positioned for success.

6. If You Could Describe Event Planning in One Word, What Would It Be?

Orchestration.
